Little Fruitcakes: Nursery Website Design by Fruitcake Media
£79 a month inc VAT, nothing upfront, everything in
Every change made for you, as often as you like
New policy, new photos, new menu? Send it and it’s done
Or update everything yourself, whenever you want
We take the website off your plate
Design, hosting, SSL, daily backups, domain and email, every change and all the support you need, in one monthly payment. Nothing upfront and nothing else to buy.
New policy? Send it. New photos? Send them. Menu, fees, staff, open day, snow-day notice: send it by app, email or phone and we make the change, every time, for no extra charge.
Full CMS access is included, so you can edit any page, add photos and post news whenever you like. Most nurseries do a bit of both. Either way, it’s never a burden.
Built around what parents need to know

Parents want a straight answer on fees, the free entitlement hours you offer and what counts as a chargeable extra. Your website shows it clearly, and you can change it the day your fees do.

Baby room to preschool, what a typical day looks like, what’s for lunch and how settling-in works. The things parents ask on every visit, answered before they pick up the phone.

Your Ofsted report, safeguarding statement, SEND approach and policy library, easy for parents to find and easy for you to update when a document changes.

Every page nudges parents towards the step that matters: a show-round, an enquiry or a place on the waiting list, with forms that land straight in your inbox.

Meet the team behind Little Fruitcakes
Little Fruitcakes is Fruitcake Media, a small web design team at Glasshouse, Alderley Park in Cheshire, looking after 400+ websites for small businesses. The person who designs your nursery website is the same person who makes the change when you send us a new policy two years later.
No ticket queues, no account managers, no outsourcing. Just people who pick up the phone, know your setting by name and take the website off your list.
Nursery website design that works for parents and for you
Little Fruitcakes is the early years side of Fruitcake Media, a web design team based at Glasshouse, Alderley Park in Cheshire, looking after 400+ websites for small businesses. Nurseries kept asking us the same things: can parents find our fees, can we change the menu ourselves, can you just do it for us? So we built a nursery website that answers all three.
One price. Everything in.
£79 a month including VAT, nothing to pay upfront and a 12-month initial term. That gets you a bespoke nursery website designed around your rooms, your fees and your parents; secure UK hosting, an SSL certificate and daily backups; a domain name and email mailboxes where you need them; full CMS access and the Fruitcake Media app; and changes made for you whenever you ask. There is nothing else to buy.
Built with current early years requirements and guidance in mind
There is no such thing as an "Ofsted compliant website", and we would be wary of anyone who says otherwise. What we do is design around the information the EYFS statutory framework says you must share with parents, and the fees and chargeable extras information the Department for Education expects providers to publish online, so the right things are easy to find and easy to keep current. Our guides on what a nursery website should include, nursery website requirements and which policies to publish set out what applies to you and where it comes from.
How it works
1. Book a call. We talk about your setting, your parents and what you need the website to do. No forms, no sales script.
2. We design it. Within about 10 working days of receiving your content and photos, we share a draft for your approval.
3. It goes live. We set up your domain, email and forms, and show you the app.
4. We look after it. Hosting, security, backups and changes are all handled, month after month.
Fruitcake Media holds 23 five-star Google reviews. We are a small team, we answer the phone, and we would love to build something your parents actually use.
Questions nursery owners ask us
How much does a nursery website cost with Little Fruitcakes?
£79 a month including VAT, with nothing to pay upfront. That covers the design and build of your website, secure hosting, an SSL certificate, daily backups, the Fruitcake Media app, changes made for you whenever you ask, and ongoing support. The initial term is 12 months and there are no extras to add.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes, in two ways. Every website comes with full CMS access, so you can edit pages, add photos and post news yourself whenever you like. And every Little Fruitcakes website comes with the Fruitcake Media app, so when you would rather not, you snap the new menu or type the update on your phone, send it over in about a minute and we make the change for you. That is included, not an extra.
Is my nursery website Ofsted compliant?
There is no such thing as an "Ofsted compliant website", and we would be wary of anyone who says otherwise. Ofsted inspects your setting, not your website. What we do is design around the information the EYFS framework says you must share with parents, and the fees and chargeable extras information the Department for Education expects providers to publish online, so the right things are easy to find and easy for you to keep current.
What do I need to give you to get started?
Your logo if you have one, some photos of your rooms and outdoor space (we can suggest licensed images to fill gaps), your fees and session times, your policies and your Ofsted report link. We write or tidy the copy with you, and most nursery websites are live within around 10 working days of receiving everything.
Can you move our existing nursery website over?
Yes. We usually rebuild it on our platform at no extra charge, keep your domain, set up redirects from your old pages so you do not lose your Google history, and take care of the switch. Domain and email set-up is handled where you need it.
