What every package includes
Whichever package you choose, there is nothing to pay upfront. Every package includes the same properly designed website and the same real human support. We design it, build it, host it, maintain it, secure it and look after it. If you want something changing, call, email or message us and we’ll do it for you. If you enjoy making your own updates, full CMS access is included in every package too.
You do not need to arrive with a finished plan. We can help structure the website, write the words and source suitable images. Give us what you have and we’ll sort the rest out with you. Websites are typically live in around 10 days.
The difference between the packages is not the website, and it is not the level of care. It is how much marketing we do around it. Starter is your website, looked after by us. Active adds Social Media On Request and the Fruitcake Media App. Accelerate adds Managed Social Media and Ongoing SEO.

Package questions, answered
Is the £39 Starter package a proper website?
Yes. Starter is our complete website service, not a cut-down version of it. You get a bespoke website designed and built for your business, then hosted, maintained, secured and looked after by our team, with real people you can call whenever you need something changing. Active and Accelerate do not give you a better website. They add marketing services around it.
Is there anything to pay upfront?
No. Every package is a monthly subscription with nothing to pay upfront. The design and build of your website are included in the monthly price.
Do I have to build or update the website myself?
Not unless you want to. We design and build it for you, and when you want something changing you simply call, email or message us and we do it for you. Full CMS access is included in every package, so you can make your own changes whenever you like, but you never have to.
What if I do not have the words or the pictures ready?
That is completely normal, and it is not a problem. We can help structure the website, write the copy and source suitable images. Give us what you have and we will sort the rest out with you.
How quickly can my website be live?
Typically in around 10 days once we have what we need from you. Some websites take a little longer, and we will always keep you posted on where things stand.
What counts as a website change you make for me?
Everyday updates to your pages, text and images. Send us what you need and we will happily do it for you. On Active and Accelerate we also create new content for you, from articles and news to offers.
What is the difference between social media on Active and Accelerate?
On Active it is on request. You tell us what you would like to promote, whether that is an offer, an event, a new service or some company news, and we create the content for you. On Accelerate it is managed. We plan, create and schedule your ongoing social content, so you do not have to think about it.
Does the Starter package get any SEO?
Yes. Every website we build carries proper SEO foundations, so it is structured and written to be found. Accelerate is the package where we actively work on your Google visibility month after month, monitoring the searches your customers are making, watching your competitors and continually improving the site.
What is the Fruitcake Media App?
It is our app for Active and Accelerate customers. It lets you request website updates, articles and new content straight from your phone, so anything you want changing takes about a minute to send over.
Can I change package later?
Yes. Many customers start on Starter and move up as their business grows. Just let us know and we will switch you over.
What happens after the 12-month minimum term?
Your package simply carries on and stays flexible. If your needs change, just talk to us and we will adjust things together.
I already have a website. Can I switch to Fruitcake Media?
Yes. When a business moves to us we usually rebuild the website on our platform at no extra charge, so you get a fresh, fully supported site rather than a patched-up old one.
Who looks after hosting and security?
We do. Hosting, SSL, daily backups, maintenance and security updates are included in every package, and every website is built and supported in Cheshire.
Optional marketing services
The Accelerate package already includes managed social media, ongoing SEO, content creation, competitor monitoring, a monthly marketing report and continuous website development. When you want to go further still, Fruitcake Media also offers:
